Mrs. Vietnam World 2018 – Linda Mah
Linda Mah has a storied life, which spans familial, corporate, and entrepreneurial distinction. Originally hailing from Hai Phong, Vietnam, from what were the humblest of beginnings, Linda and her family ultimately settled in Edmonton, Alberta (Canada). It was then that a very young Linda stepped into the role of helping her family navigate through the acculturation process. The extent and scope of this often-daunting responsibility served to shape Linda’s character, whilst strengthening her family bonds. What were seen as seemingly insurmountable challenges, those that come from living in a strange, new world, were steady lessons in indomitable will, which Linda carries to this day.
Each chapter of Linda's life serves as inspirational and transformational material for her life coaching ambitions. One of her longstanding quotes is, "Unforgettable in the art of empowerment." Regardless of age or gender, Linda believes that the path to self-love, and any outlying accomplishments, begins with self-awareness.
Linda's professional expertise extends to commercial real estate, international relations, and business development. Linda is an accomplished restaurateur, with two establishments thriving in the greater Edmonton area. With a wide-eyed vision, Linda’s business endeavors continue to unfold.
Conducting charitable and humanitarian outreach to her native Vietnam has been a longstanding charge. Whether it is serving the poor, the infirmed, or orphaned children, Linda is committed to enriching the lives of those whom she comes to meet.
The moments aside from Linda’s professional life are largely spent in the company of her beloved family and friends. As a devoted mother to four children, Linda subscribes to the principles of balance and reasonableness. A saying that Linda often relays to her children is this, “Life will teach you the lessons that you are unwilling to learn from me.” Linda’s body of work and her life experiences form the basis of this quote.
There are many more chapters to write in this life. Selflessness and benevolence will be Linda’s pen and paper. For every chapter you have yet to compose, may the pages speak eloquently of your own mark on humanity.
